Haikyu Inspired socks for my daughter to match my Clipped Crows Fly Again Sweater. Teams represented: Karasuno, Aoba Johsai, Nekoma, Tokonami, Date Kogyo, Fukurodani, Ougi Minami, Kakugawa, Johzenji, Wakutani Minami, Shiratorizawa.
There is a reference to being from the concrete in the second season, so the cuffs, heels, and toes are gray depicting this. The teams are shown in order of when Karasuno played them through the first three seasons - be it in official or practice matches - from top to bottom on one sock and then continuing from bottom to top on the second sock.
CO 44 stitches. 2x2 rib. 10 rows per stripe. Slip stitch heel flap with a French Heel Turn.
Used Roxanne Richardson's Star Toe of Four Points tutorial for this pair. Because of the small amount of stitches (44) the toe is not as long as it usually is, even though I put 4 rows in between each decrease row, until the last 2. Will need to try it again on a normal 64 stitch sock to see if I like how it fits.
