It's Manga Monday! Today I'm sharing my first impressions of Animal Crossing: New Horizons: Deserted Island Diary. We also read volume 1 of Solo Leveling, however I already have a dedicated first impressions video for that title and will not be talking about that title here. My Happy Marriage, Vol. 1 by Akumi Agitogi My rating: 4 of 5 stars More like a 4.5 I really enjoyed this one. The summary for this book does not mention that some of the characters in this world have certain gifts. It was a nice surprise and definitely helped to keep my interest. Tokyo Dreaming by Emiko Jean My rating: 4 of 5 stars I didn't enjoy this one as much as the first. I can't even say why because it would be a spoiler! I still enjoyed the story quite a bit. View all my reviews

Bl Metamorphosis, Vol. 5 by Kaori Tsurutani My rating: 5 of 5 stars Really loved this series! Such a nice, wholesome story. I enjoyed how we followed the BL manga that our characters bonded over through the course of this story as well. I'm so glad that I finally read this series. View all my reviews

Sharkwater Beach by Tim Meyer My rating: 4 of 5 stars More like a 3.5 I enjoyed this one more before the twist. The twist was just a bit strange for me and definitely not what I was expecting going into this one. Even with that, I still thought this was an entertaining and fast read. View all my reviews

Kushiel's Dart by Jacqueline Carey My rating: 4 of 5 stars Really enjoyed this one. I was surprised by how much it kept my interest as I usually have a difficult time with books this long. The torture scenes were a bit much for me at times, I will admit. I almost want to jump into the next one right away, but if the next one is anything like this one, it will take a bit of a time commitment that I just don't have at the moment. View all my reviews
