Heaven Official's Blessing: Tian Guan Ci Fu (Novel) Vol. 1 by Mò Xiāng Tóng Xiù My rating: 3 of 5 stars This was just ok for me. Definitely not what I was expecting. It was entertaining, but it didn't draw me in. I will continue to the next one and see how I feel about the series after that one. Artwork within was gorgeous. View all my reviews

Darkfever by Karen Marie Moning My rating: 4 of 5 stars More like a 3.5 on re-read. Definitely an entertaining read, but not as enjoyable as I remember it being. It's been over a decade since I read this the last time, so I didn't remember much but I still found the story enjoyable. Decided to listen to the audiobook this time around to give me a different experience. Didn't really jive with the narration but speeding it up a bit more really helped. Not sure if I want to continue with the audiobooks going forward, but I will be continuing to the next one soon. View all my reviews

The Christmas Murder Game by Alexandra Benedict My rating: 3 of 5 stars This was entertaining, but never really drew me in. Interesting game but there was one character that grated on my nerves for a majority of the book. Some aspects were too predictable but there was a slight surprise in the end as well. I listened to this entirely on audiobook and do wonder if I would've felt more connected to the story if I had read it physically. It might be something to try in the future. View all my reviews
