Welcome to my October reading and crafting vlog! I've decided to rename these Disis19 Diaries, because that's what these videos really are - diary entries as opposed to following me around while I do things. This vlog will encompass my thoughts on my reads of October, participating in the Camp Crystal Lake Readathon, the Spookoplathon, Hallowtween, and the Manga Freakathon. ~Mentions~ Spells for Forgetting by Adrienne Young Vampire Knight Volume 1 by Matsuri Hino Persona 4 Volumes 7 & 8 by Shuji Sogabe/ATLUS Mieruko-chan Volume 4 by Tomoki Izumi

Finished Series: If Witch, Then Which?, Vol. 3

Image
If Witch, Then Which?, Vol. 3 by Ato Sakurai My rating: 4 of 5 stars Cute series. Definitely had a few situations and a character that reminded me of The Worst Witch movie, which is one of my favorites. Loved the art style and thought this was an entertaining read. View all my reviews

Finished Series: My Thoughts on Ghostly Things, Vol. 3

Image
Ghostly Things, Vol. 3 by Ushio Shirotori My rating: 3 of 5 stars With this being the final volume, I do feel this was an unsatisfying end to the series. We don't get all the answers to the mysteries and even the answers we do get are not complete. There were too many things revealed for a series this short and it feels like the mangaka didn't have as many volumes as they thought they would've? This probably could've been at least a 10 volume series with all the mysteries that arose throughout the story. I really enjoyed the art style and I do feel like our main character will continue to search for answers, however as a reader, we won't see that. I hate when I'm left with a lot of questions at the end of the story and I definitely feel that with this series. View all my reviews

Books: My Thoughts on Ghouls, Ghouls, Ghouls (Ghost Hunter Mysteries 5)

Image
Ghouls, Ghouls, Ghouls by Victoria Laurie My rating: 5 of 5 stars More like a 4.5 I still maintain that this is one of my favorite installments of this series. There were a few things that bothered me though this time around, that didn't bother me when I read this originally so I had to lower the rating a little. Still really enjoying my re-read of this series and am looking forward to continuing. View all my reviews
