The Mysterious Affair at Styles by Agatha Christie My rating: 4 of 5 stars More like a 3.5 for me. Read as part of #MarchMysteryMadness This is my second Agatha Christie read, the first being And Then There Were None . I was surprised to discover that this book was not narrated by Poirot as I had presumed going in, but it was narrated by another character named Hastings. Though I did find the case interesting, I found Hastings to be a bit annoying. Poirot on the other hand, I really enjoyed. Though the story in itself wasn't spectacular in my opinion, I did find myself thinking about it and who the killer might be in my last few days reading this book. I didn't really have a solid suspect in mind for most of the story, but I can tell you that I was quite surprised when I found out who actually committed the murder. I did feel like I was led to believe it wasn't the character it ended up being, which made it even more surprising when the reveal was done...

16 Episodes tvN, 2015 Romantic Comedy, Food, Supernatural, Mystery Watched on DramaFever ☆☆☆☆ Wow, it has been a while since I finished a Korean Drama. MyDramaList tells me that the last drama I completed was Bride of the Century back on August 24, 2015, I started Oh My Ghostess on the same day and watched 6 episodes before I put it on hiatus. I decided to finally pick it up again on March 20, 2016 and marathoned 8 episodes in one day. At the peak of my Korean Drama Addiction, this was the norm for me. Every weekend we would have drama marathons where we would watch between 8-10 episodes of a drama in a day. In the last couple years though, this has died down quite a bit. Life, other hobbies, and my daughter's extra curricular activities kept us pretty busy. Busy enough that I stopped watching Korean Dramas all together for a time. I was drawn to this show after finishing my re-watch of Crossing Jordan last year, as I was looking for a show that was similar. I was not disappointed. The Horse and His Boy by C.S. Lewis My rating: 4 of 5 stars I really enjoyed this book! I have to say I was concerned about how much I would actually enjoy it as I went into it knowing absolutely nothing about the story, but I was pleasant surprised by how much I liked it. Flesh & Bone by Jonathan Maberry My rating: 5 of 5 stars Probably more like a 4.5 but I need to think on it a bit. Buddy read this with the same friend I've buddy read the first two installments with. More thoughts later... So, after some thought, I do have to say that I did not enjoy this installment as much as the first two. That's not to say that this book wasn't as entertaining as the prior two. It definitely started out with a bang and kept my interest throughout. I just had some issues with Nix's behavior at many times in this book, which took away some of the enjoyment for me. True, she did started showing this behavior in the prior book, but it wasn't to the extent as it was in this book. We do get a cameo of a character from a different series the author writes, which I thought was interesting. Of course, I didn't put it together until it was revealed who the character was because I have not read that series yet. Again, I enjoy...

The Unusual Suspects by Michael Buckley My rating: 4 of 5 stars Really enjoyed the second installment in this series. Sabrina was a bit whiny and I'm glad I opted to read this one instead of listen to it on audiobook, as I did with the first book. I also realized that I missed out on all the illustrations the first time around! This one does end on a cliffhanger so have the next one handy if you dislike those. View all my reviews

I mentioned in my January Wrap Up video how I did that month as far as my reading challenges went. This month, I thought I'd post about how I did instead of including it in my video (which should be up tonight hopefully).
