Memebox - Superbox #53 My Honey Box Unboxing
I was introduced to Memebox back in June and this is the third box I purchased from them. If you don't know about Memebox, they sell themed boxes of Asian beauty products. The Original Memebox comes with a mix of 4-8 full sized products and deluxe sized samples. The Superbox (which is what I've gotten all 3 times) includes only full sized products. The boxes are limited edition, so they do tend to sell out. This box for example, is sold out.
The boxes are shipped from Korea and can take 15-25 business days for delivery with standard shipping. I've actually had pretty good luck with the shipping usually only taking a couple weeks, but as I write that, I am still waiting on a box from my most recent order that was shipped out on September 19. This Honey Box was part of that order, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it will arrive soon.
Now on to the unboxing! Sometimes Memebox will release a spoiler of one or two products that are in the box after it ships out, but I don't usually go onto the website to take a look. This keeps the unboxing extra surprising. The theme to my box - products containing honey. I decided on this one because honey has natural anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. The box was $29.
When you receive your box, it comes in a bright pink bubble mailer as shown below:
Inside is your pink cardboard box containing all your goodies:
When you open your box, you will see your Product Guide on the top. This card has a little about each product and instructions for use in English. The products themselves usually have a little English on the front but the instructions and product descriptions are usually in Korean, so the Product Guide is very helpful.
I'll go in the order listed on the card. I'll also list the amount of product included and the retail price along with a summary of the product description. The first product is the MIGABEE Antipollution RE-Peeling (100ml, $37). This is a peel-off type facial pack that provides nourishing and brightening effects.
The second product is the Mi Click Manuka Honey Treatment (30ml, $5). This is a deep conditioning mask for your hair.
The third product is the Enesti Apple & Honey Shea Butter Hand Cream (50g, $5). This hand cream also claims to moisturize, purify and firm hands.
The fourth product is the From Nature Multi Effect Collagen Honey Mask (1 mask, $1). This is a sheet mask with other herbal ingredients to soothe and brighten the complexion.
The fifth product is the EGMONG Honeybee Water Cream (50ml, $29). This facial moisturizer not only includes the enriching benefits of honey extracts, but it is also free from parabens, artificial coloring, mineral oil, talk and other things that aren't good for your skin.
The sixth product is the DAYCELL Essential Honey Lift Massage Cream (150ml, $20). This is an overnight facial treatment for dehydrated, sagging skin.
The last product is the Pure Smile Snail Lip Treatment Honey (10g, $5). This overnight lip treatment contains honey and...you guessed it, snail mucus!
Truthfully, I will probably use everything in the box, except the lip treatment. I can't get past the snail mucus. It's one thing to put it on the face or body (not that I do that either) but just the thought of it on my lips....yuck. This will probably end up in a White Elephant gift. Have any of you used snail mucus products? What are your thoughts on them?
So that's the end of the unboxing! $102 worth of product for $29. Not a bad deal if you ask me. If you're thinking of purchasing a Memebox for yourself, they are offering a coupon code this month for $5 off your purchase. Just enter code P71H during checkout. I do have a referral link here and an affiliate link on the bottom of this page to the Memebox site. I receive a small commission from any purchases made through the links to use on future purchases, just so you know.
This box was purchased by me from Memebox with my own money. I have not used any of the products yet, so I can't let you know if I like the products or how well they work for my skin, but with the winter ahead, I think they'll be great to have. If you decide to purchase a box or have already purchased a box, let me know which one you got.
Well, I think I'll wrap it up here. Hope you're all doing great and until next time, =)
