It's Manga Monday! Today I'm sharing my first impressions of The Demon Prince of Momochi House and Ragna Crimson. These were the August selections for my in real life manga club. I thought I'd have a dedicated video to these selections in case anyone wanted to read and talk about the selections with me here. I also announce the September selections in case you want to read those to talk with me about them. Let me know your thoughts on these volumes in the comments below, but please no spoilers past volume 1 ^-^ Links after the break.

Rescuing Titanic: A true story of quiet bravery in the North Atlantic by Flora Delargy My rating: 4 of 5 stars I really enjoyed this. I don't read a lot of children's books but the topic of this one really caught my attention. I have watched a lot of documentaries on Titanic, but I've never watched anything from the perspective of the Carpathia, who came to rescue the survivors of the sinking. This book provides that perspective. The story is told in a way that is easy enough for children to understand, but still interesting enough for an adult to read. I loved the illustrations and the art style and am really looking forward to more of what the Hidden Histories series has to offer in the future. I did receive an Advanced Reader Copy from the publisher through Edelweiss in exchange for my honest review. This in no way affects my thoughts on this book, just so you know. View all my reviews

My thoughts on the first book in the Forensic Handwriting Mystery series by Sheila Lowe. The first book in this series was Poison Pen, and it was the #Book1CoziesClub selection for August. I also announce the September selection in this one.  If you're interested in my spoilery thoughts or would like to read this book along with me, check out my Chapter by Chapter playlist: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLOT_4zg8R3C9pHDndIYCH-W_3Jyyy7goW

Chapter by Chapter is my audio only reading vlogs for the #Book1CoziesClub or First in a Series Cozy Mystery Book Club selections. In August we are reading Poison Pen, the first book in the Forensic Handwriting Mystery series by Sheila Lowe. In this video, I will be sharing my thoughts with you on chapters 37-39.  Due to the nature of this series, there will be spoilers! If you have not read the chapters noted above, I'd suggest waiting until you have before listening. If you are interested in my general thoughts on the entire book including whether or not I will be continuing with this series, keep an eye out for my #Book1CoziesClub Series First Impressions video on this selection coming sometime after these reading vlogs have commenced.  Please share your thoughts with me on these chapters in the comments below, on Discord, or in the Mystery Madness Goodreads Group!
