Battle of the Bookstores by Ali Brady My rating: 4 of 5 stars I really enjoyed this. To be honest, it did start a little rocky for me and I wasn't sure I was going to be a fan. In the end, the story did win me over. I enjoyed the references to other books and the bookish references. I even laughed out loud in regards to the talk about one of the themes of the events one of the stores was having. Definitely interested in checking out more of this duo's work in the future. My Best Friend's Honeymoon by Meryl Wilsner My rating: 3 of 5 stars I really enjoyed the beginning and the end of this one. The middle however had way too many spicy scenes and the reason for the conflict was not something I enjoyed reading through.  View all my reviews

Fake Skating by Lynn Painter My rating: 5 of 5 stars More like a 4.5 I thought this was very cute and I really enjoyed my time with this story. I found myself smiling at how cute I thought some of the scenes were and I definitely could relate to the frustration that our female character had with her father. I thought the narrators did a really good job for the audiobook and I'll definitely be looking into more of this author's work in the future. View all my reviews

Juni Taisen: Zodiac War by NisiOisiN My rating: 3 of 5 stars An entertaining and interesting read. Unfortunately this story didn't pull me in as much as I had thought it would. Highland Hearts Holiday Bookshop by Tricia O'Malley My rating: 3 of 5 stars I thought this was a cute story for the most part, but I really needed more from it. I wanted to see our main character flourish more with the secret of the bookshop. I feel like the pacing of the relationship was not great for me either, and the conflict towards the end just had me shaking my head. With all this being said, I still enjoyed the listen and would consider reading another of this author's work in the future. View all my reviews

Funhouse by Diane Hoh My rating: 3 of 5 stars I thought this was very entertaining and it had a nostalgic feel for me. This is one of the Point Horror books I didn't read when I was growing up and though I think I would've enjoyed it more at that time, I'm glad I was able to read it now. View all my reviews

A Merry Little Meet Cute by Julie Murphy My rating: 4 of 5 stars I thought this was cute and entertaining. I experienced some via audiobook and some via ebook. Both experiences were enjoyable and I do think I'll be continuing with this series. View all my reviews
