Glazed Murder by Jessica Beck My rating: 4 of 5 stars Entertaining and enjoyable. Really enjoyed seeing the recipes after every chapter. Will definitely need to try some of those out myself. Looking forward to the next installment. View all my reviews

Books: My Thoughts on Until the World Falls Down

Image
Until the World Falls Down by Jordan Lynde My rating: 4 of 5 stars Really enjoyed this one but it was a little too spicy for my tastes. I also didn't really enjoy all the constant references to her ex throughout, but overall the story was very entertaining and enjoyable. I definitely could reference several things to the Labyrinth movie as I was reading, and it's probably the story that I could relate the most things to the movie that I've read so far. It looks like there will be a sequel, so I'm definitely going to be continuing on this journey with these characters and see where this story goes. View all my reviews

Books: My Thoughts on Winter's Passage (Iron Fey 1.5)

Image
Winter's Passage by Julie Kagawa My rating: 4 of 5 stars I enjoyed this continuation of the events after Iron King. I wonder if this installment was really necessary to the story, but it was nice to spend just a little more time with our characters on their journey. I'm definitely interested to see what happens in the next installment. View all my reviews

Books: My Thoughts on The Iron King (The Iron Fey 1)

Image
The Iron King by Julie Kagawa My rating: 4 of 5 stars More like a 3.5 Enjoyed revisiting this one. It's a shame I wasn't jotting down my thoughts on my reads back then because I would've liked to see what I thought then as opposed to now, even though my rating hasn't changed much. I didn't remember too much from my first read of the story because it has been several years. I decided to experience the story via audiobook this time and I enjoyed the narration. I'm not sure if I will continue to incorporate the audiobooks for the sequels, but I am looking forward to continuing with this series. View all my reviews

Books: My Thoughts on Wintersong (Wintersong 1)

Image
Wintersong by S. Jae-Jones My rating: 3 of 5 stars Unfortunately, this book was just ok for me. I'm a big fan of the Labyrinth movie and while I could see the references, the main character was not someone I enjoyed reading. It was definitely an easy read, but it was never a story where I wanted to know what happened next at any point. I do have the next installment and will read it, but I'm not going to jump into it right away.  View all my reviews
