Books: My Thoughts on The Decagon House Murders (Bizarre House Mysteries 1)

Image
The Decagon House Murders by Yukito Ayatsuji My rating: 3 of 5 stars It was enjoyable enough, but nothing really grabbed me. The narration was just ok. It almost sounded computer generated at times. All in all, I'm glad I finally read this one and I would consider reading the next one in this series. View all my reviews

Books: My Thoughts on Strange Houses

Image
Strange Houses by Uketsu My rating: 3 of 5 stars This ended up not being as good as I thought it was going to be. I really enjoyed the beginning portions of this book. That's where it felt most mysterious and where I was most engaged with the story. As things start to get revealed, my interest level started to decrease. Once I finished, I still found the story to have been enjoyable but it just wasn't as enjoyable as I thought it was going to be.  While I do own a physical copy of this book, I did choose to listen to the audio book. I did not look at the pdf that accompanies the audio book and maybe that would've helped my enjoyment level. I do have the manga version, so I'm hoping that a read of this story in that medium it will make this story as enjoyable as I had hoped it would be. View all my reviews

Books: My Thoughts on The Secret of Secrets (Robert Langdon 6)

Image
The Secret of Secrets by Dan Brown My rating: 3 of 5 stars While I found this to be an entertaining read, there were a few times where I thought the story dragged. Unfortunately, I believe this is probably my least favorite of the series. Overall, I did enjoy the story though and would continue in this series if another installment was released. Books: My Thoughts on Hooked on Ewe (Scottish Highlands 2)

Image
Hooked on Ewe by Hannah Reed My rating: 3 of 5 stars Read for #MarchMysteryMadness I enjoyed this one, but not as much as the first installment. I thought that due to some of the elements of this particular installment including mentions of yarn and knitting (with some crochet), that I would be more engrossed than I was considering those are hobbies I enjoy. Unfortunately, this one didn't really grab me, but it was still entertaining.  View all my reviews
