Thought I should read this one before the Hallmark Movie comes out on April 4.

I believe I read the first book in this series, Real Murders, about 6 years ago which made some of the references to that story a little hard to remember. That being said, I did not find this installment as enjoyable as I remember the first installment being. It does makes me wonder why they decided to turn this story into the Hallmark Movie and not Real Murders, unless they have already made that movie and I just don't know about it?

This was an easy read for me and though I gave it 3 stars, it was probably more of a 2.5 star rating for me. Some of the choices Aurora makes in this one had me shaking my head, but I will not go into detail as to avoid spoilers. I will continue reading this series as I do own a few more of them, but I do not feel the urge to jump into the next novel right away.

My daughter and I were fortunate enough to be able to catch local showings of the live action movies Shingeki no Kyojin ( Attack on Titan) Part 1 and Part 2 . Having watched and loved the anime, we thought it would be great to see the characters come to life. I was pre-warned by friends however, to not have high expectations going into it. Part 1 was pretty similar to the anime, though there were changes that confused me. Not having read the manga, I'm not sure if those changes were in the manga but I kept an open mind. At the end of Part 1, I was pretty satisfied with how the movie was done. The visual gore was a little over the top for me, but I expected it going in, seeing as I knew what to expect from the story. The action scenes were great, I thought The Colossal was amazing and the casting for Hange was spot on, in my opinion. I think that her performance was probably my favorite of both movies. Books: My Thoughts on The Last Battle (Chronicles of Narnia #7)

The Last Battle by C.S. Lewis My rating: 3 of 5 stars I can finally say that I've read this series. I do wish that I read it when I was younger as this series wasn't as enjoyable as I thought it would be for me, reading it as an adult. The twist at the end of this book didn't surprise me too much and I was disappointed to find out about how another character had grown up. I was happy to see past characters towards the end of this book, but that didn't push this book from a like to a love for me. The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe will always be my favorite of this series, but I was happy to find The Horse and His Boy, as it is a second favorite of this series. I think overall, I'd give this series three stars and would still recommend people read it if they haven't. View all my reviews
